Farm to Schools

The Arcola Farms Network of local farms and growers provides direct access of Kernza® as whole grain and various consistencies of milled flour for your menu creation. 

As a high nutrition, high fiber, low gluten source of brain-healthy food, the list of available uses includes simple recipes for sauces and soups, rice pilaf and wild rice, breakfast casseroles, salad toppings, supplements/mixes for beef, coatings for baked proteins, and high nutrition thickening agents. 

The ability for kids at school to stay focused, energized, and well fed is a top priority for the team at Arcola Farms. As parents and grandparents of lots of children ourselves, we know and value the critical importance of low cost, nutritious, delicious food available at schools and in summer programs.
